The long term sponsorship now belongs to Siemans. Those are the facts!

Everyone talks about how the ride creaks and groans today. Well, I remember it making the same noises during the 1980s as well. Most of this seems to occur in the ramp up into the structure. Once the cars seem to 'level' out, the noise and "creakiness" subside dramatically once the actual 'show' begins. The ride system was probably the best they could install for the time period. Given how the track is intertwined with the structure (which is why the Time Racer coaster concept was supposedly, and thankfully, abandoned), it will be difficult for them to actually install a new ride system. Perhaps, some new cars with a better sound system will help, but, the ride system may not be abled to be replaced entirely. Personally, I hope it will always remain a slow moving Omnimover-type experience!

Many of the front line folks, while doing their best to make a great experience for us all, are very much behind in their information. I just corrected a gent this last week who had heard a CM swear that the big dark glass panel in the middle of the Dolphin Hotel was where they were going to put the Monorail, but ran out of money. This is a rumor that's long since been debunked. So just cuz it's a CM, that don't make it gospel. Robert got this one right, though!

Originally Posted By FerretAfros The loading area is actually outside of the sphere, so it could have benn built to be much larger. I think the ammount of time that you actually spend in there could be one reason that they did it that way, since you don't even really notice it until repeat visits. The end seems to stick out more, and that's after winding down the sphere in increasingly smaller show spaces.
