Also, I never said it was just the character overlays that conveyed Disney,it's a big first impression though. When one thinks of Disney Hans, what comes to mind? What comes to your mind?

Goodness gracious, I just asked a simple question. "When one thinks of Disney Hans, what comes to mind? What comes to your mind?" A variety of things - from castles to rocket ships to Mickey to popcorn.

Result is that an on-site hotel is usually a premium of about $200 per night or more. That adds up to a total of about $600 or so that I would rather spend elsewhere. It's just not worth it. To me anyway.

It's the most un-Disney Disney hotel on the planet.

But PPH, it started life as the Emerald hotel, and wasn't owned by Disney until the 80's. So it's no accident that it has the least Disney feel: it was never meant to be a Disney hotel in the first place.
