SpectroMagic or Fantillusion?

    You know... in regards to "Light Magic", it actually wasn't the tragic parade most people make it to be. Better yet.. the "streetacular". It was something along the lines of what TDL would do with a special event parade. Big show, lots of dancing, and huge confetti blast. I did enjoy it for what it was...and most people hated it because they expected a "replacement" for the Electrical Parade, and "Light Magic" was not a parade, much less electrical. Maybe that is why SpectroTragic has fared so much better as a replacement.

    Perhaps this is because it was promoted by DL as exactly that during the final year of MSEP.

If it hadn't been for that disastrous AP dress rehearsal, I don't think there would be as much negativity. Plus making such a big fanfare of the MSEP leaving and then quickly brining in Light Magic was a sure way to get fans with high expectations.

But guests only got to hear the specific character performing it in front of them. EG- if you were in front of the Aladdin float during the show mode, then you'd one hear Jasmine say the line. But it happened simultaneously thru the entire "Happy Ending" finale.

    Hey, look! Spirit's prediction from three years ago still holds true. And there's nothing to suggest that in five more years Spectromagic won't be there, either.
