I believe the DL parade will be headed there next year. I believe, but am not sure, it is still in Paris.

Ok, add some of the new movies to it, but I thought that was a fantastic parade. Spectro may have been newer technology, but it wasn't a better parade. And the music didn't tie into all the floats. I can still listen to the music from MSEP and know which float is passing by, not so with Spectro, except for when Chernabog is on. Besides the jokes, what has changed on Jungle Cruise since '71? We still love it.

He also made a most interesting comment.. "there is nothing happening between floats.. just empty space. They need more performers.. the parade is too static looking." I guess he has gotten used to seeing the epic casts that grace the TDR parades...and now find the WDW parades quite underwhelming. The japanese lady next to us most have agreed as she fell asleep half way thru it, much to our amusement.

I lived in Otown when it started and I saw it once and hated it. I thought it was boring and creepy. then I moved to Denver and didn't see it for, like, 10 years. At WDW for business, alone in'04 I saw it again and felt the same. When I was there with the kids in '06, they love DEP@DCA so they wanted to see it, so I left them with my partner and his kids and went and rode Space Mt. When I joined them later they said they should have gone with me. I got in 2 rounds on Space MT. and one Buzz. There is just something about Spectro that I don't like. Not simply not good, but it gives me wierd creepy feeling that I simply don't like. I am not even sure its a bad parade. But I will actively avoid this parade because something I can't put my finger on really bothers me about it. Kinda like how clowns made me feel when I was a kid.

I think a truly updated MSEP, ala Dreamlights would be fantastic.
