Disney, even as it completes work on two new ships, is in the market to build a fifth and could pull the trigger soon after the Dream sails in January ... and Disney isthisclose to announcing a location for its first DVC project in Europe (and, no, it won't be at DLP or anywhere in France).<<< <<Meh. I'm sure that's big news for some...but....eh....Cruises don't interest me.>> Much like trees, eh? Your loss. Cruising is one of the best ways of vacationing out there. Provided the cruise is seven days or more. I really need 9-10. But you can do as much or as little as you like. You can be on the go, or simply relax and be pampered day and night. And DCL is still a very high quality product. Not a premium brand, but top of that next class along with Celebrity and Princess.

But, and I really don't wish to make this thread political (because it is so worthwhile and important ... dare I say, crucial to all humanity ... so we can screw up another thread with politics ... I'll find some thread about 'which moderate resort is best?' and we can all go there and just spout rhetoric! ;-)), I will say that Charlie has been an improvement over the youngest (and brightest) Bush as Gov and Rubio is just a complete slimeball ... and this I base on knowledge of the man from close associates and what I hear him say ... and Meek just doesn't impress me much and I doubt he has a chance.

That's the major difference between his self aggrandizing and yours.>> That's absolutely true. I have learned to not take myself seriously thru years of effort. I let the important people take me seriously. And the love they've shown over the years speaks more than any 4,000 word diatribe on a message board could! <<Also - if you payed any attention to things outside yourself, you'd know lesbians are in charge at WDI now.>> <<What the heck is up with your obvious loathing of all things lesbian?>> Well, you do realize there are two kinds of gay men, right? One that appreciates the beauty of women and their bodies, but prefers men. And the other that gets scared by any boobies that aren't on a fat dude or some bodybuilder type ;-) <<Were you planning on prostituting yourself to the gay Imagineers to land a job, only to discover that the dykes don't play that game?>> I haven't skipped ahead to see if he answered this, but he has said (perhaps in jest, but I believe it factual) that he wasn't pretty enough for the older bois in Glendale. I doubt the few lesbians with power at WDI (and I personally only know of two) are exactly running roughshod over what has largely been a boys club of largely gay men. <<Gloriosky. If you could figure out a way to bottle your bitterness, you could conceivably put Angostura out of business.>> It's scary, ain't it? I can admire bitterness, but not when it is just dumb and misdirected.

It isn't worth the premiums you usually have to pay, but that doesn't stop the Mouse from getting them most of the time. Only the REPO cruise, which was a much tougher sell in 2010 than the first time in 2007 right when the economy was starting to crash, and the first two MED cruises struggled with bookings. Indeed, the Magic sailed for Barcelona and out of it with many empty cabins. And that was after handing a bunch out to the military ... and discounting like hell. A great many folks who booked interior cabins in the lowest categories (9-12) found themselves with veranda staterooms, which is pretty unheard of. That said, DCL is having no problems filling its Canaveral based sailings ... and folks are paying absurd amounts to sail nowhere worthwhile on the new Dream next year. <<They have such a selection of exotic locations to build in Europe it's going to be hard to guess where they would choose. Maybe Tirana Albania or maybe Chisinau Moldavia or perhaps that swinging beach resort on the Black Sea Mamaia Romania. I would guess Spain since that's where you were docking, but I have a problem with that one. Wasn't there some kind of problem with labor when they were considering where to build Euro-Disney?>> Barcelona (general vicinity) was indeed the runner-up location in the Euro Disney sweepstakes! <<I would guess it's somewhere along the Mediterranean though.>> I don't know where it will be. I do know I left for Europe knowing two of the most likely locales and that was confirmed to me and one more location (that kinda/sorta makes perfect sense in a weird way) was thrown in as the third. My $$$ says Spain gets it.

Cruises are like theme parks or national parks or beaches etc ... they're for all ages. Carnival does skew to a younger age demo, and a generally trashier one. And Holland America generally skews to a median age of 86.7. But pretty much every other line will run the gamut of ages. And I honestly don't see how any Disney fan could go on a DCL sailing and not enjoy it unless the weather was bad or they picked up norovirus, and those things could just as easily ruin a magical WDW vacation too. And this wasn't my first cruise ... or Disney cruise ... or even transatlantic cruise. I've done many with different lines. <<AS for DVC location-- I am hoping it is in the UK.. I feel in need of a trip there..>> UK is a great place to visit, although still pricey for Americans. Although I've never been there when the pound has been so weak against the dollar ... only $1.53! That said, there are plenty of ways to make a visit less pricey. And I can also recommend a great touring service as well. It's extremely exclusive and run by a dude with the same name as yours! (he doesn't wear tiaras however)

He made you the best rightwing redneck wackjob Disney stalker in all of TEXAS. And we all know how big Texas is (they need the space to store all the manure they toss around, after all). Speaking of Texas, this Spirit is very displeased over the seeming demise of his favourite USA airline in your hometown ... and to be merged with what's widely regarded as the worst major airline in the country too. Nope ... not happy at all.

We may be facing an ecological disaster the likes of which we never have. Something that could easily dwarf the Exxon Valdez. It is sickening. And we need to get off the oil addiction. Whether it's evil Arab nations selling it to us or just us pumping it out of our own ground in sensitive areas. Amazing how backward we are in the USA compared to Europe when it comes to mass transit ... like trains ... you know like the ones Walt loved, only way kewler. Of course, Europe also has us beat in many other areas ... like quality of healthcare for the masses, Magic Kingdoms, McDonald's and variety of potato chips/crisps!

Dunkin Donuts were always my fav, but they disappeared years ago in the UK. And we don't do doughnuts very often because of how fattening they are. I am huge by European standards (but strangely average to smaller by WDW standards, how strange).
