Unlike all these mega billion new facilities. look at O-Town where you have an arena that opened in 1989 about to be replaced. The life span for these HUGE community investments should be a bit longer than two decades. Some places that are/were dumps (the Orange Bowl comes to mind in my town) have/had such stories histories that antiseptic expensive corporate stadiums/arenas will never replicate. Fenway is a great example of a dying breed.

The resorts ARE destinations in their own right. Again, there really are limited amounts of time one can ride Space Mountain, Peter Pan or Star Tours before boredom sets in. WDW is about so much more than parks.

And I will put my number of on-property nights up there with anyone here. But I do see less value as prices increase, better options arrive in O-Town and Disney Walmarts further.
