You never have to look very far to have something to read.

You know, the kind of thing that makes people say, "Why do you even bother going to Walt Disney World if you hate it so much? Go some place else. That means the lines will be shorter for me.". It's all Spirits fault.

Plus a chance to get $30 pizza that I'm sure will be the best tasting pizza anybody has ever had.

It's really kind of ironic. While the Disney forumns speculate what Fantasyland is going to turn out like. The WDI are doing the exact same thing.

I try to put it into perspective Dave. I misspell words all the time without the benefit of a Martini.

I've been checking in every now and again ... reading ... but when I go to post I just feel BLAH ... really ... what is there to talk about these days? I want to be excited by WDW ... I want to be wowed ... but a 1972-era parade, recycled pyro and new meet and greets IN TWO-THREE YEARS ... um ... I just can't get all foamed up. And judging by what I've been reading here, I guess I'm not alone. But hey, did you guys catch the cut to Iger early on ABC's Oscar telecast? That was demanded ... oops, I mean requested by The Weatherman's peeps ... nope, no ego there.

Put a fork in it, beyond the DLR board anyway. WDWMAGIC has fanbois who will post over new urinals in T-land, but even that place is awful quiet. And this place, if not for you, Merfie baby, putting folks in their place over paint on the swinger at DCA and how DLR sucks and WDI too ...and if not for a certain manic new poster ... well, this place would be dead too. And, rest assured, Disney notices. They notice plenty. BUT ... you think they care? Since much of what gets posted on these sites can be very critical of The Mouse, Burbank would love to see the rhetoric turned down. Then we could all discuss which moderate resort is our favorite, which characters show up at the Cape May breakfast, and whether we should book the DDP now or wait for it to be offered for free (OK, maybe not that one!)

That gets old in a hurry. Some of the younger set can drop a few hundred posts in a day. <<Maybe people are getting lives, and don't have time for the boards. I find that a horrible idea. I need you guys keeping me informed.>> Some of us always have had lives (or very interesting existences), but made time to read and post. I have to admit that's very tough. Some of the best folks here either have left or post very sporadically. Couple that with truly very little at WDW of substance and you get ... BLAH! <<I suspect it is a case that I am not the only one very disillusioned with the mouse trying to find new interests.>> Possibly. I am not disillusioned because I have felt the same way about Disney a decade ago as I do now. The company has fundamentally changed. It has some very souless folks making decisions. As an organization it is living off the greatness/legacy of Walt and his greats. But, in some ways, I've accepted it and moved on. I still love the parks. And much of the creative product. They do get far less of my $$$s than they once did. And if they don't care about that, then why the hell should I? <<And for others, it could be the recession keeping them away if they do not know when their next trip will be.>> I'm sure this is also a factor. Our economy has been in freefall since 2007 and isn't getting better in any real sense. Of course, those who have always had money, largely still do.

Funny how when parks like EPCOT Center, TDL, DLP and TDS open they don't need the constant work all the half-arsed, built on the cheap, cutbacks galore style parks do ...

How much should we increase the make-overs for little Princesses to, at the Bibbidi Bobbbidi Boutique.>> We could do a Miley at the Oscars makeover package and charge $500. Seriously, does anyone really think she can sing or act or is even attractive?
