Keep it clean. Spruce up the landscape, return the uniqueness, and quality of the food, and merchandise. Make the guest feel special, and increase the streetmosphere. I don't need E-tickets, or meet 'n greets. Just give me that Disney atmosphere. Inundate me in Pixie Dust.

After watching Move It, Shake It, Celbrate It, did you feel like wearing one of TDLFAN's Tinkerbell T's?

    >> Quit going?!??!? HAH?!?! I almost wound up at DL this past weekend and I am actually planning to be at WDW next month ... again! <<

Why don't you just stick a butcher knife between my ribs.

    >> Interesting how you both came back at the same time ... are you the same person? The Brit and the Twit?!??! <<

I'm not British, so what does that make me.

    >> (Look at that love. The guy is back for a day and I'm already taking shots. Sorry, Lee, I know the proper term is Englishman. Sorry, good sir ... pip, pip and cheerios with milk and a scone and all of that!) <<

With a Scottish sir name, do you think he would prefer Haggis?

Now you are speaking my language. Sadly Joe the plumber doesn't seem to notice these things.

    >> Poor 18-year-old Justin Anderson of Muncie, Indiana's family will likely be getting a $125,000 settlement offer from Disney Legal for the loss of their little 'bear'. <<

Throw in a couple of Dole Whips, and it sounds like a pretty good deal.

I'm going to try the pineapple on pizza one day. What other toppings should I get, Canadian Bacon?

No kidding, and that definetly calls for a complete comp.

    >> Never been to Kool's, although was tempted to try it about 15 years ago when it first opened. Is it any good? <<

I haven't been in 5 or 6 years, but it was really good the last time we ate there.

You might hear some of that from the Democratic leaders, but they won't act on it. They are in bed with big business just like the GOP. Rush Limbo makes a fantastic living at tripping the trigger of Liberals. I've always said he's a pompus a$$, but the same can be said about dozens on the left.

I have a lot of pent up rambeling to do.

The Castle was horrible, and stayed up way to long. I hate to say it, but I was hooked by the Remember the Magic pharse.

    Sadly, I do believe it.

As much as I love DAK, I firmly believe the non-event, never-ending 25th anniversary celebration with pink castle marked WDW's official sharkjump!

Joe is in demand. Even at his advancing (only by WDI standards) age and his salary. At some point he's going to need something meaty to do at Disney as he's not the Tony Baxter type who will be content to pout in a cubicle for half a dozen or so years until a regime change gives him power again. <<

    <<So that's a yes?>>

How about it's not a 'no'.

    >> Very interesting how an old Disney vet was plucked by a competitor and yet no one has said a word ... I have no comment myself. I'll just go listen to the RoE soundtrack before bed! <<

    <<Jerold Kapland?>>

    Um ... ????

Vould you like some vodka, comrade Pierce?

    >> The demolished theater now a parking lot for Phil's Yukon. And Space Mountain's very half-assed redo are things that really bother me. <<

<<How are they concealing that from the view from the TTA. Is it enclosed or something?>>

It's actually more enclosed now than it ever was before. They have put TTA logos in the spaces where you could peer into the theater (which always meant seeing cars in the smaller parking lot behind).

Nah. He's much nicer than I am. A weakness in my opinion.

Rumor has it that he was spied at DD in Anaheim last weekend withOUT his Spirited son!

I pretty much agree with that. But I also think certain parks (especially MK and EPCOT) really need major additions to make up for years of cutting capacity and quality and just flat out neglect!

<<After watching Move It, Shake It, Celbrate It, did you feel like wearing one of TDLFAN's Tinkerbell T's?>>

I have never seen TDLFAN in a Tink tee (I think). I did make fun of his Daisy Duck tee once, though!

I have to admit, though, that I actually kind of like the street party (even if it's name truly sounds like it should be gay porn!)

    Why?!??!

    WHY?!??!

    YOU HAVE TO ASK WHY?!??!?

Simple. I'd much rather make it very slow and painful (think of me as your government in action!) for you!

I dunno ... he's either ignoring my beloved thread or going over it line by line with my pals at TDO trying to figure out what they can 'take' from my rantings, ramblings and ruminations!

Disney has to be careful ... those whips have a retail of $2.69 now ... or is it $2.89? Dunno as I had ICE CREAM on Main STreet and cheesecake on Main Street instead!

    >> I love pineapple on my hamburgers (Adventureland Veranda: RIP). Love it on pizza. And on grilled chicken. <<

I like American bacon better myself. You know Canadians are Commies and their border is the reason why we aren't safe.

I think we should nuke them back to their igloos ... after we steal their oil and have some really good pizza!

    >> You're fave body style is Alaskan! <<

Don't call me baby without buying me dinner first (no, a Dole Whip isn't sufficient) ... and seeing yet another typo really makes me wonder if I should READ what I post (although what fun would that be!)

    >> Serving raw meat can be a major health issue. <<

<<No kidding, and that definetly calls for a complete comp.>>

And if it wasn't for the fact Disney monitors my every move (remember that data-mining thread from last fall?), I'd be calling Brandon and demanding a full refund. It really was absurd ... and he brought over the third one himself, but his guest recovery skills left a lot to be desired.

I'll have to try it! Maybe add it to the list of acceptable locales on the tax-deductable 'Take a Spirit To Dinner' program ... now with an additional three months free, meaning you can take him to dinner thru 3/31/11! Isn't that magical?

This is the first significant repair job needed. But much of it is total BS (how about a 250% markup on a battery?) and some of it, I believe (only a hidden camera would know for certain), was the result of shoddy workmanship at a sister dealership.

    And I agree completely.

I just feel the hatred on the right is scarier ... if anyone thinks I'm a fan of either 'wing' they're nuttier than Rush and Pelosi put together!

I can tell ... I am off work now until Monday, it would be nice if I didn't have all of your inane (and some ane) ramblings to respond to.

Maybe I should just buy you a Jeff Lange DVD of MVMCP 2009 edition (unless you prefer the Halloween Party) and Mrs. Pierce can play it for you over and over again, so you won't be pestering me here in the LP! :)

    >> Sadly, that actually started happening for me when they painted the castle pepto-pink and kept reminding me that I needed to 'Remember The Magic Because We Won't Be Creating Any New Magic'. <<

Disney is great at creating songs you can't get out of your head (although I can't get the 1974 hit 'Playground in My Mind' out of mine for other reasons!) and Remember The Magic is one.

I was surprised when I was listening to the three-disk TDR 25th Anniversary music collection (an amazing gift from a certain former LPer) when I heard that music in recycled form for TDL's 20th in 2003. I wasn't aware they did that.

'Course they also 'borrowed' the 1983 opening 'TDL is your land' from the WDW Tencennial 'WDW Is Your World' parade and show ... and no one cares, so why am I talking to myself when I could be drinking the last of the cheap wine!
