I've run into several "cold spots" myself at Disney, It's called air conditioning.

I never said the source was trustworthy. In fact I indicated pretty much the opposite:

<<There are many supposed "news sources" that have reported the decapitation story>>

My point was just that there was a lot of that information out there in blogs, fan sites, etc.

I seriously doubt that Disney has the legal right to assess fines of anyone, no matter what their infraction. About all they could do would be to eject the person from the park, and perhaps revoke their ticket(s).

On the particular day we met him, he was wearing a fake beard and patting himself on the back for having fooled security at least up until lunch time. He told us what he had done to irk Disney to the point where he was banned from ever coming back into the parks. But it's been so long ago we don't remember what the infraction was. All we recall is that it didn't seem to be so bad, really. Still he seemed to be having fun trying to sneak his way back into the parks.

I was on it one day at just the right time, when the sun got caught in a sensor that counts the logs as they go by, causing the ride to shut down. We were quickly evacuated, and scooted out from backstage. It seemed like 15-20 minutes after we got off, they had reopened the attraction. I assume the turn-around time for an evacuation like this would be about the same.

They used to be really, really strict with their "No Flash Photography" policy.

It's just as much the other people in the boat's fault for letting them continue.

ORDDU: Well, there's picture taking flashing and then there's 'creative flashing'--which makes the ride more interesting, actually. So get over yourself, little sister--before I bring in Orwen to sit on you!
