I've had to directly challenge photo takers before. And while I'm usually successful, it still ruins the ride, as you can just feel the photo taker's eyes boring a hole through your back!

If those were to be turned off, the boats would continue forward for some distance, as they slowed down and eventually stopped. I wonder how long it takes for that to happen.

But when all the music and dialogue goes off, and "the voice" comes on in a very annoyed way, it's as though the pirate world you're immersed in comes to a stop, even if the boat is still moving slowly.
