Does a long post cut into your video game playing or something. >> And so Sport, they should minus, not plus, attractions? << Sport Goofy has made it very clear what he thinks of SSE. He didn't care for the ending before, he probably won't care for it now. I'm sure his post were short enough for you to read. It doesn't get much clearer than that. Let me quote Sport Goofy since you seem to be struggling with it. >> So, in other words, its very similar to all the previous incarnations of the attraction. << I am certainly looking forward to more of your speculation, and brash comments in the future l.

Public opinion is that the descent is inferior, not equal to, "previous incarnations". What is so difficult to understand about that? BTW, how did you know I play video games? Or is that an example of your own speculative, brash comments?
Originally Posted By Sport Goofy << Public opinion is that the descent is inferior, not equal to, "previous incarnations". >> It's not public opinion, it's fansite opinion. But I do seem to remember that during the last big overhaul there was discussion (back in the RADP days) about how they axed the Tomorrow's Child theme from the ending of the ride and that didn't sit well with the same sort of fans who don't like the changes here either. So, it's quite possible that if this forum had existed 15 years ago you would be hearing the same thing.

Had I said "it cuts into your video playing" time now that would be a brash comment. Now I may fear you could possibly have A.S.D. (Attention Span Disorder). If you can't make it to the end of my post, maybe you should tell your Mommy. She could take you in to see a health care professional who has experience in these matters. Let me give you an example of a brash comment. >> We've known all along that this thing is finished. It's the Disney apologists who haven't come to terms with it yet. << Unless you are somebody way up in the Disney corp. this is a brash comment. You are merely speculating. Also you never did address these other comments you made. >> Finished: Spirit and Lee over at wdwmagic have said it doesn't look like a lot more is coming. Hence, SSE is finished for all intents and purposes. << Neither one of them said that. You are failing to address your incorrect comment. Why? Mousemerf is basing his whole theory on speculation. They are having cast previews so therefore the ride is finished. He may be right I do not know. I prefer to wait an see if it is finished or not, then ride it before I start cussing the finished product. I can say I don't like the idea of a black 5 minute journey with a video screen. At least there was some eye candy in there before. However I still have to wait, and see if this ride is completely finished.

Sorry, wish I had the answers. << This is the last thing Spirit had to say on this. If he can't get the final answer it seems like everyone could be jumping to conclusions. It may be finished, and then again it may not be. If leemac would make an appearance maybe he could shed some light on the issue.

Note to certain Imagineers: People don't come to Disney parks to watch movies, even if they can push buttons, even if they can 'talk' to/with the characters. Ask yourself why PoC is still so amazingly popular after 40 years ... ask yourself why Everest is such a huge hit that it is pulling DAK's numbers where they've never been ... and ask yourself why no one goes home saying Monsters Laugh Floor or Turtle Talk was the highlight of their trips.
