Well, yesterday there were some Siemens executives touring the park...wearing Seimens IDs on them... Maybe they will be disgusted enough to force Disney to make revisions... Still, I have not ridden yet so I have no opinion on the ride as of yet. But have heard enough ranting on it to last me a decade..

It's fine for the postshow, though I'd skip it there too. Basically they've decided that the attraction ends after you see the earth from space. After that you may as well exit the vehicle for all it and the surrounding space contributes to your experience.

I feel your pain TDL, i was at Epcot yesterday too, was hoping to go all flash-photo expose-style crazy on the descent to finnaly get an answer to what's in there right now, as it's an odd looking black void.

And before anyone gives me the no-flash-photo lecture, I have been literally blinded by tourists more then once in Nemo (so they can suck it), and SSE has no sign saying not to.

Flash Photography is encouraged when you're doing research for a Disney Discussion Forum. SSE may be finished, I don't know. It just really seems odd to have black out curtains hanging in an area when it is so obvious.

Maybe the screens wouldn't be so bad, but the content is just unforgivable. For one thing, it takes 45 seconds for the vehicle to "process" your answers, leading to 45 seconds of dead time (or time asking the same 3-4 "test" questions).

But worse is the actually animated material. A "smart suitcase" that packs for me? A robot to take care of my pet while I'm away? An itinerary that takes me to the Great Wall of China even though my destination is under the sea?

The fantasy stuff is out of place. But the animated material doesn't even make sense. What a horrible end to a wonderful build-up.
