I like to go to where there's captivating, rational, and thought-provoking discussion. I won't say that is now absent from WDWMagic, but I will say that I will now be coming here, in addition to other forums I have frequented, regularly.

I STILL complain in GR. It all depends on funds from Siemens and TWDC. I also have a slight bit of intel that the money for the descent might have gone to other Future World projects... unfortunately like the MonoTrack Cleaning and the beginning of the new Inno Aesthetics. And along with that...like Hokie said, the first 4/5ths of the ride is pretty damn good. SSE isn't a total loss. ..Nor is it a total victory. It would be close, however, if and when they ever finish up what they started.

You can go off-topic, you can use some semi-naughty words, you can make an off-the-cuff political comment and you can rip the hell out of Phil Holmes (just to name someone) without some character that thinks she's your MOM coming in and removing the post or, worse, castrating it by editing it in a way that removes all its meaning. I was not purged from MAGIC. I was not asked to leave. But I also was not happy by the way others were treated. And by the pervasive 'Disney Can Do No Wrong' 'tude. I only have limited time these days to post, just returned from an amazing 14-night Disney Magic transatlantic cruise and am headed to another magical place soon, and this is it for me. I wouldn't tell folks not to post on MAGIC (well, that's not 100% true but it would require a long 'splanation that I have no time for), but I don't see conversations and threads as deep or, conversely, as fun and inane there that I do here. But please send my love to JT and Jake and tell Mom I won't be taking her out for brunch at EPCOT for Mother's Day! ;-) Again, glad to see ya!

While I know I've butted heads with many folks here in the past over an issue or another, I at least respect your ability to think rationally and reach conclusions that flow logically from your premises. His conclusions seem to flow unnaturally from...I dunno...Imaginationland. Although I don't have any first hand information, my bet is that the new attraction has been very well received with the general public (you know, that same general public who is impressed by those cameras at Wal-Mart that "broadcast" them on "TV"!); my guess is the only thing that was going to finish that descent was a mandate from Seimens. <<<< But please send my love to JT and Jake>>>> Wow, lumping J "Disney closed Pleasure Island, therefore they must have better plans for the area, therefore a great and exciting 5th gate with Beastly Kingdom, JTCOE, etc. must be opening there" T with Jakeman, an articulate individual who reasons through his thoughts? That's cold!

Why do you think the parks blog regularly addresses things we're complaining or confused about? That kind of nonsense about Disney only using formal surveys and being completely unaware of the things we say here and elsewhere will not be tolerated. What you say in the public forum counts and your apathy or ability to accept misdirection from people - btw on their payroll who there entirely to mislead you - is being carefully monitored and measured.
