Tomorrowland was about the world of tomorrow, what is supposed to be the next great technology but made into a ride. Space Mountain was successful, star tours when it opened was, but now what is cutting edge? Come on Disney lets get a new tomorrowland. Personally I think Buzz, Star Tours, and Innoventions need to be redone completely with stuff that doesn't even resemble to originals! Space mountain will be on my list to go in a few years as long as they have something better and innovative.

I cant say its not going to be anything like the old one. But seeing this version will be what 24 years newer, Im sure it will be a great improvment. You have to have a little bit of faith, not every new attraction disney touches is doomed to be crap. When ST 2.0 comes out and it's horrible i will be first to post and say junk the ride.

Imagineering could deal with that, because you only needed engineers to do the work. But technology has rapidly evolved to the point where engineering alone won't cut it. Imagineering would need to have scientists to be able to create the future. It is simply not reasonable to expect that an entertainment company would fund the research to create the technology of tomorrow. Innoventions is supposed to allow outside companies to show those cutting edge products that Disney alone could never hope to do, but we all know how successful an attraction that is.
