    Jim, remember when security was at access points all over property like near Ft Wilderness, the MK CM parking lot? They are long gone also.

    Not like it really meant anything by then, or that it really meant anything when it was active. But for some reason, in that area of the property, when that booth was really remote and the midpoint conduit between LBV and SSL Area, I was really bummed when I saw it entirely removed.

    Always got a kick of waiving to the guard stationed in the booth. What a great gig to pull, at harmony with a very charming part of the property.

    Its certainly in our minds! But hey, its the little things. I guess it was a gentle reminder of a past that can't be replicated today.

    Today disney would put in an automatic gate with large flood lights, cameras, rfid sensors, and then leave the gate open.

    When they let anyone enter the resort area to visit the MK hotels it pretty much became pointless. Also it no longer signified a boundary of the resort.
