That's particularly funny, since he insists that there's not nearly enough room to do a proper Star Wars land at the Studios (where they would presumably demolish the Streets of America/backlot area for the expansion), yet this similarly-sized parcel is just the right size...

We do. It's just that when we have the granddaddy of all theme parks in our state, we let it go to our heads.

Meh. WDW is getting high attendance, I don't you can argue that guests are 'upset' with the parks overall.

DCA is a "half-day" park, and Disney also charge 'full price' for that theme park, but the thing is that most guests get a park hopper anyway these days.

DHS complements the other parks in WDW, offering shows and unique rides, though you probably wouldn't spend a whole day there, and that's OK. DHS has a tiny parking lot, and few options for expansion, anyway.

The parking lot will be *expanded* by the demoltion of Richard Petty, SWLand may potentially go to the *east* of the parking lot, where there is just dirt, grass and scant trees.

Maybe not overall, but that doesn't mean people wouldn't be disappointed in some things.

"DCA is a "half-day" park, and Disney also charge 'full price' for that theme park"

It was a half day park. Now I think it's worth the admission, with the addition of Cars Land and the improvements they've made to the rest of the park.

"most guests get a park hopper anyway these days."

I don't know if that is true or not. But in February I didn't buy hoppers. The $39 Disney wanted for that convenience wasn't worth it to me.

Or get to RSR first thing one morning and watch fireworks at DL that evening if we want. I check the apps and there's always SOME E-ticket or other favorite with a decent line, so we'll parkhop in the middle of the day if we feel like it. I like the flexibility. With the 4-day hopper we typically get, it's not that much more per day.

It is nice at WDW too though. With Dak closing early and the Studios having not much going on you really do need a hopper.

Too bad the article is about things staying in DL after their main purpose has disappeared. For example the TT trolley is just a bench now instead of a ride.
