Hasbro has had problems with distribution for the last three years.

There were plenty of reports of 4+ hour waits to go shopping, after paying the already-high price to enter the building. If people were willing to do all that (and miss out on the unique panels and presentations), then there's no reason to think that they wouldn't do it on a random Thursday night. I blame the consumers for encouraging that type of event, not the company for putting it on
