The will be Disneyland cast members, trained to Starbuck standards.

Oh yeah. Take a look at the pair of photos on the bottom of this page:

That facility is really underutilized, and looks terrible ever since they decided to expand the Star Trader into it (which was supposed to be temporary while they remodeled the shop, but they never completely moved out of the arcade). With video games and merchandise racks scattered together, it feels like some really bizarre discount store, but with the typically high Disney prices. The idea of a futuristic coffee shop is also kind of fun, and it's in an area that would help pull people into the far corners of the park early in the morning. I'm sure Starbucks wanted a more prominent location, but the Starcade really makes a lot of sense

As for the logo, I could see them going a couple different routes. The easy, obvious one would be to make something that looks very similar to their logo, but do it out of stained glass. That would make it feel old, but still allow it to retain the familiar colors and design (though apparently they're going with a different design).

What I had pictured in my mind when I first heard about it was a polished brass relief sculpture, about the size of a manhole cover. It would give them some room for artistic liscense, and make it unique enough to fit in, but familiar enough to be noticeable. Hang it in the front window, and it's a great sign. It wouldn't be the familiar colors (or design, apparently) and would be difficult to light up, but I think it could look quite nice. Here's an example of the general look I was picturing (I have no idea what this thing actually is), but there are many different ways to do it:

You might recall the Hills Brothers Coffee Shop on Main Street had a beautiful stain glass window of their logo.
