In addition to what ChurroMonster wrote, Krispy Kreme was also cooking their book, an inept management team, and a horrible business model. I actually tried to talk a foolish aunt of mine out of investing in Krispy Kreme, to no avail. She thought their donuts were yummy, and thus her investment couldn't lose. She's still a stockholder lol.

I know, it's not much of a protest, but in life, we must all choose to battle for the things that matter most to us. For some people, it's civil rights. Me? I'm waging a one-man war against pretentious-sounding coffee sizes.

How do I know this? ;-) I treat myself to a Venti, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato a couple of times a week on the way to work. In winter time, it's "extra hot," and right now it's "iced." I like it... I think they put drugs in there. There's a sense of euphoria involved. Yummy! And I hope my regular shop isn't closing. It just opened this year, but there aren't any other Starbucks between that one and my work location... maybe it's got a chance.

Another question comes to mind. Sometimes they'll say they are out of iced coffee. I prefer iced coffee over iced americano because the ice waters down the americano. Would I ask for a double shot to count act the melting ice? Also, what exactly is a Macchiato? I always feel like an idiot when I'm ordering in Starbucks.
