The SW fans have waited along time for this and we ain't getting nay younger and maybe some are tired of waiting for it to be there. And as far as Avatar. In my opinion saw it once like it for the story but the visuals. But could not tell you anything about after seeing it. They would be smart and drop it pay Cameron off and get started with this.

Disney owns Star Wars and has new films in the works, so a Star Wars land at it's flagship resort only makes since. Avatarland will supposedly begin construction this fall, and with Carsland a runaway hit in California, Disney would be stupid not to build a clone somewhere and Disney Studios seems to be the logical place for at this point. So yes, in 10 to 20 years I would not be surprised to see all three projects built in Florida.

Hopefully they will add a SW land because it would probably be the most popular out of the three.

Only 2 new attractions, one being a Star Wars version of the TRON lightcycle coaster going into Shanghai, and another is a 3-D version of the Jedi Training academy. 2) Cars Land will be a knock off. RSR will be a dark ride with no racing portion, and there will be no Luigi's.
Originally Posted By Dr Hans Reinhardt "WDW hasnt had a good track record with adding new and exciting attractions lately." Disneyland went for almost 50 years without expanding beyond its borders, but it finally happened. Likewise, at some point WDW will have to pick up the pace in order to remain relevant. With the billions they've spent on Parks & Resorts over the past few years there may not be much motivation at Disney to do all of these big projects right now, but it isn't out of the question to expect them to appear in the pipeline somewhere down the road. Avatar Land seems to be a done deal, and a big Star Wars development of some sort is pretty much inevitable.

The HP expansion only had one new attraction and the rest was, well, meet and greets, shops, food and theming. Yet, according to many, it raised the bar to new levels. Without any details how can you assume that Disney can't do the same with a couple of Star Wars attractions in some kind of expansion at Disney Studios?
Originally Posted By HokieSkipper <<The HP expansion only had one new attraction and the rest was, well, meet and greets, shops, food and theming.>> There are no meet and greets in WWoHP. And with that being said, IoA had a significant amount more to do than DHS does. DHS needs a lot of additions. Not replacing a stunt show with a ride and MuppetVision 3-D with a glorified version of something it already has. I think it will probably be really good. The park just needs so much more.

The reason why these plans are even being talked about is because DHS is struggling to retain guests and is in an attendance free fall. And before people quote the TEA numbers, don't. They're BS across the board.

My wife for the most part doesn't do thrill rides or rides that get you soaked. So when we went to IoA her day consisted of waiting for me and her son to go on the thrill rides... she rode Spiderman twice and enjoyed the Poseidon's Fury show. IOS just doesn't offer much else than thrill rides or the kiddie stuff on Seuss Island. I loved the park and the great theming of WWoHP, and my wife enjoyed watching me and her son enjoy ourselves. But as far as attractions that SHE can enjoy, she finds a LOT more to do at the Disney Studios.
