This one was the most confusing... Not sure why asking someone to post a link to where they are getting there "facts" is an attack.
I thought it was a fair request since others have in the past posted where they found their "facts".

Go back and look. I didn't get defensive over the request; I got defensive when the poster in question attacked me in post 55. Of course, it didn't help that I had just read the same poster calling utahjosh "disingenuous".

Sorry, I meant 54. Your post was about me, not the subject, and your comments were derogatory, so yes, that's an attack.

Yes. Calling someone disingenuous is one of the worst insults you can make. It was totally below the belt.

Actually, neither one. There was no distortion. And yeah, yeah, I get the "appeal to authority logical fallacy," which would have some merit if this were debate class. But this isn't debate class. It's real life. And in real life, when multiple people who aren't all liberals (and who discuss things quite amicably with other conservatives here) are all telling you the same thing, you might want to consider if maybe, just maybe, there's something to it. Or you can keep on doing the same things and wonder why you get no respect here.

I do, for the first x-number of times. It only becomes about you when you indulge in your nonsense. When I (or others) call you on your nonsense, suddenly it's "you're attacking me, you can't just make your own arguments," blah, blah, blah, lather rinse repeat.
