Isn't that fantastic? My precious Double Fudge cookies have been rescued from the grave! I love the Kellogg's Corporation more than they'll ever know.

I was worried, really, when the Nabisco was on sale and they were OUT of them. I need crackers for my lunch at work, so I was forced to buy the generics.

    I was pleasantly surprised.

I think there is a certain quality in some things that can't be duplicated OR our taste buds are used to, Heinz 57 for instance. Is it better or just what I'm used to?

Anyway, I just noticed that I have generic scrubby kitchen sponges and Safeway brand vinegar and mop pad things for cleaning. I bought Safeway brand toothbrushes for travel.

Hmm, maybe if I'm not eating it, I don't care so much?

shiva, I am with you on the dishwasher loading thing. I am the only one in the house who knows the RIGHT way to load it :)

I am split on the own brand/name brand thing, but ketchup must be Heinz, and mayonnaise must be Hellmans :)

peanut butter when I have it I like to be the organic stuff, I am not so keen on the ones with added sugar.

Cleaning products vary depending on what's on special. Washing powder is always Bold because it doesn't bring me out in a rash :)

DH is *very* fussy about cereal and it has to be name brand, usually Shreddies :)

The one thing I wont compromise on is my Alfredo sauce packets by Western Family- I get those mailed to me from Utah as I LOVE them, they usually are no worse than 3 for a buck (compared to the 1.67 each here and taste awful)

I also get my Circus Animals mailed out here because they arn't carried anywhere in Orlando...

I got a bottle of that on sale real cheap a week ago. I'd never tried it, thought it was pretty darn good!

I agree with Best Foods. Nothing beats a Wonder Bread, Best Foods, and Kraft Cheese sandwich.
