Even if it did, that's 38 million Americans without, and millions more in the other categories. To be frank, your question sounded to me like nothing so much as "is there another excuse we can find to do nothing?"

My god this country is so selfish>> I want to address this point. So I'm working two jobs right now but the one job I don't work from October to April(baseball season ends). I live by myself so I make enough to make my house payment every month. Pay my bills and put food on the table. Any extra money gets put away. Usually that money will be split between having money for home or car repairs. So while I get by, I do have it in the back of my mind will I be able to afford all my necessities each month. I wonder if there's a middle class tax cut can I and many others like me afford it. Can we afford to pay for healthcare? And yet because we worry about our lives. Because we want to make sure our families or ourselves are taken care of first, we're called selfish because we don't want to pay for other people's health care. I'm sorry but if you can't take care of yourself how can you take care of others.

You're under the auspices of our current broken-and-getting-worse insurance debacle. Right now. You think you're protected? You think your health care is taken care of? Then you have indeed been drinking the Kool-Aid.
