Saying that you find smoking disgusting doesn't mean you hate smokers, and saying that you think tattoos or piercing are stupid doesn't mean you think people who have them are stupid. So those aren't hate speech and they aren't against community standards. But saying someone is disgusting and stupid is hate speech and is against Communty standards, and those that flagrantly violate community standards should be banned.

But no one needs to worry, that's not going to happen, not from me anyway. But if you're really the big guy you think you are, a role model for your kids and family, for your community and faith, you'll at least give a passing thought to the idea of the genuine hurt you cause every single time you endorse the ideas you have here. At the very least, if you're incapable of change and evolving, you can give some thought to shutting up about it so as not to intentionally hurt people you don't even know.
