I wandered into downtown disney just a little before 12:30 and just seeing all of the parking chaos (I walked from backstage up and around into dtd) was enough to make my head spin. The parks were packed! And I didn't even have to go in to realize that. DTD was enough for me. See what you did Lulu? You made your trip and everyone came out in droves to see you! I hope you all had fun at the meet =) There were some crazy outfits out there today!

He told us that judimouse and cmpaley were at the hub meet (I'd forgotten about the every-Sunday hub meet!). We stayed at CG til about 12:45 and headed over to the hub, meeting several other LPers there, and enjoying the "commotion" as all the bats gathered for their group photo. A very "colorful" group! I sure enjoyed the day - and thanks to poohbear for cluing me in on the Food & Wine events! I'd never done those before, so I enjoyed getting to do one of each.

We did run into nico, cmpaley and judimouse and did a couple rides with them. There was a nice turnout of participants for Bat's day.

It was my 3rd attempt at a disney audition, the first two were for face character & the aladdin musical. I was thrilled that I got to make it into the second round! When they told me I was perfect height I honestly didn't believe them. I was in shock. The second round went really well, but as fate turns out they were REALLy only looking for those under 5 feet or OVER 6 feet today. nearly every single person around me that was in my height range or a bit taller ALL got cut, so I wasn't alone The past two auditions I didn't even make it past the first cut, so I was super excited LOL! I came home with a smile on my face just knowing that I stand a good chance if I go back again when they are casting for my height! Which food & wine events did you get to check out? I've tried explaining the festival to family members that are going on the 15th. We all really wanted to go see Guy Fireri (sp?) but the ticket prices were a bit TOO much for us. Did you get to sample any of the yummy foods or just get to watch how they were prepared?
