Or, take a few hours out of your day to do it yourself at a self-service laundry? That doesn't seem very frugal when you can much easily and for free do your laundry when you get home. Even if this is true, then let me modify my advice: wash out the inside of your popcorn buckets in the sink with soap, dry, then stuff your CLEAN clothes into them before packing.
