Why did she run around trying to change his plan? And people really need to stop trusting Dawn!

Also, I thought Corinne's fixation on "the gay" was really weird! Yes he seems like a great guy, but I think she'd love him even if he was a maniacal killer, just because he's gay. Odd...

Glad to see Philip go. Dawn seems like she's losing it. Next episode should be interesting.

Michael was sure entertained there in the jury box. His joy will likely change quickly when he realizes he is now trapped alone at Ponderosa with Phillip for the next three days.

The three amigos are still down in numbers, so will be interesting to watch them work people next week to see if they can recruit from the 'Stealth' alliance,

I think he still should have looked for it even though Andrea wouldn't leave his side. She would have known about it but he would have been safe. Plus he had a good chance at winning challenges. Oh well, I was hoping he would win.
I think Sherri and Eric will be the first to go from the alliance so they should have flipped.

It's a shame that Erik got removed from the game, but I don't think he would have won anyway. He wasn't a particularly strategic player (he factored into key votes, but was never the driving force behind them), but did alright at the challenges. If he had survived and Cochran was eliminated, I think Dawn or Eddie would have won.

Sidenote: how long ago did they film this season? I'm guessing it must have been at least a year ago, by Brenda's belly and her lack of any mention of a significant other on the show, but I suppose that could have happened pretty quickly after she was done.

Overall, it was a really fun season, with a lot of great moments, including plenty of crazy ones. I have no idea what the 'clue' for the next season means, but I'm looking forward to watching it!

I am, I think, the only non-Malcolm fan in America. I mean, I don't hate him or anything, I just don't think he is the most brilliant player of Survivor.

I was happy that, for once, the jury actually voted for the guy who did play the best game and outwitted them. Cochran is really an enjoyable guy, he said something funny in every episode. It's hard to call someone who graduates harvard an "underdog", but in a nation that puts so much emphasis on looks (see also: Malcolm) over brains, it was refreshing to see Cochran prevail.

I know Sherry had no chance of winning, but if you make it to final 3, is that really the best time to reveal to the jury that you are very a successful business owner back home with 75 employees? Most people would rate that as "probably doesn't need the money" in this game.

I agree that Cochran always had good commentary. It seemed like he was the go-to for great thoughts on the state of the game, and quips about life in general. I think that's a huge part of the reason why I'm so glad he won. I want him to narrate my life

I also loved Eddie's idea for how to use the money. It was kind of funny that it was edited in right after he proclaimed that he really is as dumb as he seems, but I think it would do really well. Everybody that I know who watched the episode said they really want to try the concept out!

Any respect I had for Brenda was lost after the whole teeth thing. Survivor is a game. You will be hurt. You lost. Get over it. Don't humiliate someone on national television. That goes beyond the game and just trying to make someone look ugly.

But the truth is that they are really angry that they didn't get to betray someone first.

I don't know if anyone else caught it but when being questioned by the jury members and asked if she thought she would win she said that though she might not win the million she would win enough to buy new teeth. Really, she assumed she would at least get the $100,000.00?

Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate her but I felt almost, I don't know, disappointed by her.

Very happy that Cohcran won, he did deserve it and ended up so much different from the first season. When I first heard he was returning all I could think was, oh no, here we go again. But he has matured and learned to edit his words and actions quite well.

    **Spoiler Alert re: next season**

The clue Jeff gave seems to mean that the cast (and there may be former players) will either be competing with or against, family and friends.

But given that the final vote was unanimous, I'm not sure how they would officially pick a second place (though it would clearly be Dawn, should there be a prize for it)

As for next season, I'm thinking it might be somewhere in/around the Middle East, based on the instrumentation of the music they played (which is redone for each season). The visuals sort of hint toward the Red Sea, but I may be completely misreading things. I do like your read on it though; the family thing seems like a really neat twist on things

I am excited for the logo though. Excited for the buff.

    whew!!! speedy!!
hope things go well for her.

i was glad cochran won, too. he weems to know the game inside and out- and maybe even back again. good for him.
malcom wasn't a favorite of mine or a dislike.
but, i have to admit he added a flavor to the show for the young girls.
i hadn't heard he had been on a soap opera until last night on the finale.
    that made me laugh.
