Alex is right - everyone is totally underestimating Yau Man. But I also think he said too much at Tribal Council about how the revelation of the idol doesn't change the next few rounds. And Alex talks at Tribal Council about rats and snakes and betrayals and pay attention because you can tell what someone is going to do by what they've already done. And then he completely and utterly throws Mookie under the bus. It'll be interesting to see if everyone else realizes that Mookie got voted out because Alex turned on him. It should be pretty obvious because they knew it was going to be a tie, and they saw the vote for Boo, and Mookie can't vote for himself, so the extra Mookie vote would have had to have come from Alex. I do think Alex is more dangerous than Mookie, so Alex might have just bought himself some more time by voting for Mookie, and he certainly threw a kink into the "let's make it a tie" strategy. /cs

Although I think we're due for another woman to win, I wouldn't mind seeing Earl take home the million (of course I think Cassandra or Yauman would be deserving winners as well).

The husband and I were debating whether the curse applied to the actual winner or any person who got a car. I say it's the actual winner, since Amber got a car when Rob won the car challenge and Amber won Survivor but Rob didn't. That was awfully nice of Yau Man, and a good strategy move. Yeah, he has to count on Dreamz keeping his word, but I would expect peer pressure might fit into that. If Yau Man and Dreamz were both in the final four and Dreamz actually won the immunity challenge (though I kept wondering why he kept talking about it like his winning the challenge was a given - if I were him, knowing I'd have to give it to Yau Man, I'd make sure I *didn't* win that challenge), if he went back on his word and didn't give it to Yau Man, I would think he would lose a lot of votes that way even if he made it to final two. There's lying on Survivor, but I think that would surpass that, especially with someone as well liked as Yau Man. Heck, look what happened to Edgardo and Alex for just going through Yau Man's bag! Who thought the old Chinese guy could do so well? I think he's everything Cia Boi (sp?) wanted to be and couldn't be. Nice that Earl found the idol. Yau Man pretty much gave him that too, since he didn't have to share the third clue. I hope Earl keeps that idol nicely tucked away so no one finds it by accident or on purpose. That can certainly come in handy, especially since the next round is the only round it can be played in. (I thought last year, the hidden idol could be played at final four as well, but apparently, not this year.) And yep, Stacy completely blew it with her "divided vote" comment. If she pretended that she knew she was the one to go, there was a chance they might have gotten Yau Man off guard. So now, Yau Man and Earl are gonna know everyone else turned. They're nice guys who understand the game, so it'll be interesting to see how they react. I'm sad that Cassandra turned. The husband said he knew before we watched the show that Stacy was the one to go tonight. He'd seen a commercial for Sunday's finale and noticed that Stacy wasn't in any of the shots, and she was the only one. Sloppy editing on their part! Can't wait for Sunday's finale! Still rooting for an Earl/Yau Man final two, but then I wouldn't know who to vote for! /cs

And, when will they get that they can't trust Dreamz at all?

The second IC was a great endurance challenge with Jeff literally turning the rack. Yes, I was disappointed with the outcome of the final 4 TC, but not with the episode.

I too really like Earl and of the 3, he deserved it the most and was happy to see that all the votes went to him. Very rarely does my favorite win but I guess such is life. The new location in China looks really cool, I can't wait for it to start.
