I did not like the whole chicken sacrifice ceremony it was not nice to watch and I'm sure I could not have eaten it as they were told not to. The new season looks good I'm sure I would not cope well being exiled!

They did all kind of burning of incense, fruits of the earth type stuff, then they put in a just removed headless whole chicken into the fire. The final 4 then left for a challenge, when they got back i forget who said hey that chicken is still on the pit. So they all went over peeled off the charred black skin and started to pass around big chunks of meat. Rafe said it didnt feel right to eat it so he didnt have any, the other 3 ate it all. Then they made a big deal about how it rained really hard the rest of the day and how that was the worst rainfall they had the entire time there.

The challenges seemed much harder and more involved this season ... but the rewards were generally better, so they all ate better than in a lot of previous seasons.

I think it would be one thing if they just decided to eat it when nothing had been said. It's another thing that they were specifically told they should not eat the chicken, and they did it anyway. I wasn't paying close enough attention and with editing and all it seemed like a long time between when the chicken was cooked and when they ate it. I just kept thinking what a great punishment for eating it if they all got so sick they couldn't complete the challenge the next day.
