Gary knew he was extremely vulnerable, so he had to use it. If someone like Judd or Stephenie had found it, they would presumably have saved it for another time when they thought they were in trouble. I think Jeff's reference was that it was possible to get further in the game if you found the idol. /cs

When it was the original tribes at the beginning, a lot were trying hard to get rid of her. But then when the tribes switched up, it became the numbers game and she's been kept on probably for nearly that purpose and is probably someone most wants to take to the final four now that it's all about indiviual immunity since she doesn't pose any kind of a threat at this point. Also, I think my favorite to win is, believe it or not, Gary. Honestly, he's about the only one I really want to see win at this point that's still around. Look at the other men: Judd and Jaime, uh, I want those guys out ASAP! The camp guide counselour is nice, but let's not kid ourselves, he's only getting by because he's on the tribe with the numbers and doesn't seem to be a huge threat. He also has very little game up to this point. As for the women: Stephanie, PLEASE no (2nd would be fine though ). Lydia, like her, but also no game and no threat and no way she is going to win anyway. Cindy, is she still there? Danni is cool though, so I wouldn't mind her getting it, but Gary just seems to be playing so much harder game wise. OF course that means he's out in the next episode .

They broke the alliance of 6 not just by voting for Jamie but also by leaving Judd out of the changed decision. Judd can't be long for this game either. /cs
