Looks like he's going to be pouty in the next episode, so it will be interesting to see what happens. He has the immunity idol, but it seems like the rest of the tribe is strong enough to still get rid of him in two rounds if they want.

Also, if I were the producers, I'd push the merge back another episode or two, just to see what happens. If I've learned anything from watching this show before, it's that you should never rely on something being certain.

If Cochran can make it to the merge, I think he has a really good chance of winning. He's not enough of a thread for most people to vote against him, and he hasn't done anything (so far!) to make anybody hate him either.

In the other tribe, things have been getting strangely religious. Don't get me wrong, I go to church and everything, but it seems like every single thing that tribe does involves a prayer circle, and it was kind of making me uncomfortable. For me, you pray for really important things; not for finding an immunity idol or winning a challenge. It just seemed really forced and fake to me. To each his own, I guess.

Very much so. Especially in a game that involves constant lying and back-stabbing.

Here is Coach, praying to God that they will find the immunity idol, and he's got it in his pocket the whole time.

Just play the game and stop dragging religion into it. Especially a disingenuous, self-serving version of it.

Is that pretty standard for Survivor? There were a couple references to things in the Redemption Island season, but not nearly as much as this season, regardless of the most recent episode. It just seems strange, since I don't remember any of it from the early seasons.

I'm also glad that Keith got sent to Redemption. I would have rather seen Ozzy go, but Keith is kind of a jerk, so I'm okay with it. It will be interesting to see what happens this week, since it's the first time that there's really been a huge move that nobody expected. Hopefully Cochran isn't next...

I wonder if it would have worked had he not over-done it with his performance? Perhaps just acting a bit pissed but not saying anything at all would have been better.

I think it will be interesting to see who wins the Redemption challenge. I suspect it will be Jim, since he seems to be goot at the physical stuff and the puzzles, but there are always surprises. I would be shocked if Ozzy stayed around long enough to make it back into the game.

I also liked how Whitney did her best to intimidate Cochran at the very beginning of the episode, and later claimed that he was trying to unfairly bully her. She hasn't shown much of a personality, but what she has shown, I don't really like.

I'm not sure who will win, but I think you can tell who I don't want to win. There really aren't any stand-out great candidates. It will be interesting to see what happens once the strong tribe has to start voting itself out.

There's a great many things that seem like 3rd grade, or perhaps as advanced as high school, this season. The way Ozzy and Jim treated Cochran was classic: those types of people usually are very mean to people like Cochran, unless that is there's something they need from them, in which case they're all "buddy buddy." We saw both sides of that coin this season. And, when Cochran turned on his tribe at that vote, I think that Brandon called a spade a spade: "If you don't treat people like that, then things like this won't happen to you."
