But I am loving the altuism, and am pleased to know where I live, a number of these things are taken care of with my tax money (though there is always room for improvement).

With this "no object" money I would make charitable donations to the Red Cross, Salvation Army, American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, local homeless programs , Drs w/out Borders, local animal shelters and children's charities, stuff like that.
