    I am a firm believer in getting as close to my 8 hours a night as possible. I have had people think my sister is my twin in spite of me being 5 years older. I think getting of plenty of sleep combined with decent genetics is the reason.
    I go to bed weeknights between 9:30 and 11:30 (usually right around 10:00) and my alarm is set for 6:15, but I usually roll out of bed around 6:45 or 7:00. Weekends I stay up until I feel like going to bed, Saturdays I'm usually up by 7:30 or 8:30, Sundays my body realizes it can sleep in and who knows when I'll crawl out of bed.

    Same here. My alarm goes off at 5:30 am, which is just wrong.

    i.e. today I had a 5 AM and 6 AM conference call. Other days these might just as easily be 9 PM and 10 PM....so my job dictates what my sleep pattern is daily.

    when I had a routine I usually headed to bed about 11 PM - watch TV until Midnite-- up at 6 AM
