There is a group that walks that calls themselves the Hot Tamales. At 1a.m. they break out huge batches of tamales. Usually you have the choice between chicken or pork. We walk around the track eating tamales. Yum. This year the theme for the walk was blueberries. There is a contest to see who can come up with the best blueberry recipe. This year the Hot Tamales made a batch of tamales with chicken or pork and blueberries in them. I have to say they weren't bad.

Are the chicken ones better?"> depends on ones tatse, personally I prefer the pork or beef with red or brown sauce. Chicken tamales are usually made with a verde sauce. some people prefer them. With leftover masa, I've played aropund and made tamales with almost anything I find in the fridge, as well as experimenting with different cheeses.

There is an old hotel in PS that markets themslves on the fact that they still have the old rat pack martini look with Herman Miller funiture and googie architecture, I wanna stay there!
