They just don't have the talent or contacts to make a show like Nemo. That is entirely driven by Anne's group. >> Those are three projects I CAN NOT wait to see. Is there anything you can leak (oops, bad word) ... any added detail you can give on TDL's 25th Treasures on Parade? That's going to be my first TDL parade ever, and I've been hearing very good things. <<Thanks - I appreciate it. I wish I could banter a little more but both time and conflicts of interest prevent me from doing so. I'm just too close to some of this stuff - Subs was a perfect example - spent years on that thing and so I know intimately what was going on at all times - but "people in the know" and the Disney fanbase seem to know differently. I can't argue against that (I'm sure you know the thread I'm referencing) - the fact patterns in those threads are just plain wrong. 100% wrong. >> I can appreciate your situation better than you probably realize. But you can stay away from certain threads too. And as far as the subs go, there has been a lot of different (fish) tales being thrown around on that one. And, ultimately and sadly, WDI is still highly political ... so sometimes you have to take everything heard with a barrel of salt. <<This sure is busy times for WDP&R. I think it is good times too - I'm getting very excited about the opportunities we have around the corner these days and it has been a long time since I heard that.>> Yes. On that I agree completely. It does seem that WDI has weathered the dark ages and is entering a new era of creativity and investment in the parks and resorts. I truly can't recall the last time I felt this charged up about the future ... likely around the 1993-95 period ... frankly, if it wasn't for DAK, I may have labeled the next 10 years The Decade of Dispair (not entirely fair, especially since TDS was also created but since I didn't visit it, but not way off either). Now knowing what's coming for some of WDW's parks, I'm even excited for Florida ... but I sure would like to see something major happen in the MK ... Halloween decorations and Christmas lighting is terrific, but ultimately window dressing. And as great as the Mansion and Small World redos were, I look at that as simple -- and much-needed -- plussing. That park needs an E-Ticket ... a real, genuine, Everest-style (and no, I don't mean it has to be a coaster) experience. There needs to be a reason to be excited about the MK again. Not a reason to be excited about WDW as a whole.

At your age, you should be in the 'home' already! <<As to that Francois cat and where his influence lies, isn't DL's castle also decorated with the cool mini-lights just like WDW's? I don't know if they're doing a reveal type of show, but the overall look is very similar.>> From what I understand, the lighting is different. But DLP's castle debuted a Christmas lighting package when Francois was there and prior to the other parks. From what I gather, every MK-style park will have some lighting this year, with TDL actually having a smaller scale than the other parks. TDLFAN and/or Leemac and/or someone else may know the exact differences.

Patience is definitely a virtue on that one.

Your pictures, and re4ports on WDW, DLP, and TDL were all stunning, thanks again. What's your opinion? Which one do you think looks best? I was impressed by the shear number of decoration at TDL. They do go all out there. All of the parks had a individual look to them. I liked that rather than it being done cookie cutter style.
