Tough call, I have to tie it with DLP and TDL. DLP for the stunning nightime decor and TDL for the abundant daytime decor and amount of things to do, which is second to none of the DL parks. As for the castles this year... The MK's looks the classiest with it's "less is more" approach, yet huge enough to be marvelous. It happens to be my favorite Xmas Castle this year. (Kudos MK!). DLP's Castle has the most unique look and *best* illumination ceremony and I concider it a very very very close second to the MK's castle. 3rd place IMHO.. goes to TDL just for being different, subdued and more traditional in show, and their Illumination ceremony is 2nd to DLP's. Finally, based on the photos I have seen, HKDL's and DL's castle both look pretty similar but will have to place HKDL's Castle in 4th place and DL's castle in 5th place because I just do not like those plastic looking swirly things they use to wrap around the lights, and the finished job looks a bit tad sloppy. The fake snow patches on DL's castle do not seem to work well versus the lights when it's lit at night. Finally, I place the MK's and HKDL's illumination ceremonies in a tie at 3rd place. I have not seen any videos or photos of DL's Illumination ceremony, if they have one that is.

I get this vibe from some (some, not all whatsoever) people on this site that disney world would be a better place if noisy little kids weren't there and that it should just be reserved for the older fans who appreciate it more and I think that is horrible. Disney world, land, TDL, DLP, and HKDL were all created for the young and the young at heart. There is nothing cooler than the look on a little kids face when they see the castle for the first time, or meet mickey. Those moments are what Disney is about. Not some person getting mad because a three year old in a cinderella dress sitting behind them on snow white is crying and ruining there experince for them. Disney parks are about finding joy in yourself and others and giving others joy, especially the little kids. They are the real fans, the ones who know mickey mouse is still really there, not the older people who think they are honorary owners of the park just because they buy annual passes every year. All I am saying is this, buying every pass under the sun and visiting 300 days a year doesn't make you a real fan if you can't appreciate the smaller things. Jon

I remember those moments like they were yesterday with my kids and that was many, many years ago. And I can hardly wait to take my new grandbaby for the 1st time. So don't worry Jon most of us adore kids. And if there are those that don't they too are entitled to their opinion. After all they are just words. As long as no one is running up to kids @ WDW and kicking them it will be OK.
