The track looks unthemed, and the surroundings have no theming in relation to the story itself. I don't mind going mindlessly around in circles (helixes..whatever) but do it within an icy set where some animated props (such as a Yeti arm or similar) stick out as if we were being under attack or something. Even Big Thunder, where a very pronounced helix happens after the 2nd lift and drop, you are surrounded by canyon walls and the illusion of "being somewhere in the west" is not lost. Here...EE goes into thrill mode and nothing else to add to enhance the thrill... Reason why I did not grant a A or A+ as I was honestly hoping to.

As it stands, I'd even give Everest a bit lower grade than you ... a solid 'B.'

It could easily be an A-minus or an A if a few of the rough edges are smoothed out. Since the official opening is still three months away, many of these small issues may be addressed.

Disney definitely has a potential home run on its hands ... and not in a Test Track kind of way.

In the pictures of the icy area outside at the top, the walls and ground were all bule and white, and then there was a brown path along the side of the track. If the exact same path had been painted to look like the icy areas, it would be next to impossible to notice when speeding by, but easily accessable if the train stops. And the helix area needs some rockwork to go under the track coming out of the mountain. This would help cover up the obtrusive walkway, and make for better theming, instead of just a rollercoaster coming out of a mountain. If it followed the contour of the hill (like Big Thuner) or had bridges that could be used to make the coaster blend in with the mountain better (like the Matterhorn) then that area would look amazing. Now it looks like something you would find at a Paramount park. (Which is only one degree better than Six Flags)

Or, probably when an attraction stops and you have to evacuate on foot. Then that would be a good thing.

One of the complaints i have is when it reaches the top the train stops and you see the track in front of you tore in pieces. It seems to take too long before anything happens. I'm assuming the track is switching, but man, you just sit there for several seconds. Then you go shooting backwards down the mountain! Awesome! And the animated shadow you see of the Yeti is a bit cheesy, yes, but it really lets freaks you out cause you know when you take off again, you are going to see that thing in person! And when you do, my opinion, is that thing is slamming! It looks huge and the animatronics of it reaching out to you made my jaw drop. Granted you whip by it very fast, but that adds to the illusion of, did I just see the Yeti??

And I have heard complaints about the que. Granted moving through the buildings might seem a little dull, but if you pay attention it really gets you ready for the exbition you are about to embark on. And I think they did an awesome job in the Yeti "museum" they set up as you pass through. They have a bunch of "footprint casts" and such. But the best is the items found found the last team that, "disappeared" from the mountain! You gotta see it. They have the tent that looks ripped up, equipment trashed, and fake blurred photos from the "camera" that was found! Great job!

Did I use the word awesome enough?

I think they were a brazillian tour group.

This review is the perfect evidence to refute those LP'ers who claim that you are "always negative about WDW," "jaded," or "biased."

I still cannot believe the level of detail you observe and remember from just one visit to an attraction, display, or event.

Isn't that where the bird of prey is? Some people have wondered what he is doing there and how he relates to the story. Perhaps he was added just to provide something in addition to the broken track to keep your attention.

The lights to light up the AA were not on the fog was not running and the waterfall was not on
