The weirdest thing about the lack of sidewalks is the way they positioned the benches, seems rather thoughtless to place them ALL THE WAY up to the "curb", so that folks sitting there completely ruin any semblance of an illusion by having their feet planted firmly in the street! Yucky, bad show right there (and sort of furthers the whole patchwork quilt effort of the original designers, who apparently didn't put a lot of heart into the place).

It just doesn't dominate as MK's does after the deforestation of 2003-05 took place. It is revealed slowly as it should. Much classier. Obscured a bit by the Christmas tree in the middle of the World Bazaar, but again, not in any real sense. <<Or is it like those pesky TREES!?!? ;-) Speaking of trees... How about the hub? Isn't it quite barren? (Save for those planters like our hub?)

That likely means hygiene issues and guarantees people walking around with wet hands. I don't get this ... maybe it's something lost in translation, but I don't think so." Did you NOT see the three shells?!? You know those crazy Japs - ahead of us in EVERYTHING!!! : D

In some cases it isn't even "turn a corner" - it's like the HM is sitting right next to(read IN)Fantasyland and IIRC(I was last there in '01), right NEXT TO IASW! I still LOVED the park though!

As I mentioned on here a LONG time ago - having been a Disney park obsessive since I was about three and not able to visit until I was thirty(long after the lovely white US TLs had vanished), it was WONDERFUL to see the TL from my View Master youth. It TRULY felt like TL for me. I was SO GLAD I got to see it!!!

A day later he and I walked to track and he showed me...a plane flying over the city. The projector bulb had burnt out years ago and no one realised it initially and then no one even remembered except this one person*** Very cool story sjh! I hope that attentive CM was properly commended for her keen eye!" Actually, my thought was that she'd probably be reprimanded for being such a pedant(from the p.o.v. of WDW management, that is)and told to shut up!

Probably my favorite "scene" in any Disney attraction EVER, on my favorite ride, in my favorite park.... and now it's just SCREENS. Ugh. Flipping depressing. And I'm usually upbeat about the new SSE. But yeah, the chariot is gone. Along with the deeper message of the attraction, but I'M TRYING TO STAY POSITIVE ABOUT IT. *nervous grin*
