    I predict that a year from now (maybe 2) the right wingers will not only be DEFENDING it (as they do with S.S. and Medicare after trying their best to kill both), but falsely trying to take CREDIT for it.

    Of course, that'll be shady to the nth degree since not a one of them voted for it. But they'll try anyway.

    Just like they showed up at the check presentations in their states taking credit for the stimulus, when they vocally railed against it.

    Only not right away, they need their constituents to start relying on the new reforms first (and thus forgetting they were against it), as well as forgetting the fact that not a one of them voted for it!

Some of the news reports about the stimulus projects have gotten me irked, when Congressman X makes a big deal about bringing home the bacon, and in the next breath denounces the Congressional pork-barrel. And you never hear an interviewer say, "Hang on a second. You just said..."
