Then, when called on it, instead of manning up and saying, "You're right, I overspoke. I am more conservative than you guys so I engaged in some hyperbole, I'm sorry," we get "Well admit it, you guys are harder on conservatives than you are liberals" - which is a completely different issue altogether. I mean, talk about moving the goalposts. If in his head, "babying terrorists" and "being harder on conservatives" is the same thing, how do you reason with that total lack of intelligence and thinking? It can't be done. And so I lost my temper a couple of times over something I shouldn't have, then I end up looking foolish. It's not worth it. Ironically, DAR seems to labor under the delusion that I stay up late at night, worrying about him and how I can "change his mind." The funny thing is, I really could care less what DAR believes. I have no interest in converting him. But he seems to think that's what these boards are all about so, by gum, he's standin' up and fightin'! What he completely missed is that he's fighting an invisible, phantom enemy. He's invented this completely irrational, idiotic vision of liberals in his head, and he fights them, not real people. And that should be the focus of these threads - his completely irrational delusions about what a liberal is. Instead, people have decided to let him switch gears and go from, "You guys care about terrorists!" to "Well you guys don't like conservatives, waaaa!" It's a pointless discussion, friends.
