I've suffered more lost in the last 5 years than I could have ever imagined. Are things the same, NO! Will they ever be the same, NO! But you will carry on and make new and different traditions, it takes time to heal, to grieve and feel ok again about doing "holiday" things but its part of the process. Just let things flow, don't be afraid to show your sorrow. I haven't made it through grace yet without crying. Your hearts will heal and your family will be stronger for it. I'll be thinking of all of you and saying a prayer for comfort, strength and peace for us all.

Unless something else comes along. I guess we could always call one of those "order your Thanksgiving meal now" places and pretend we cooked it, right? It will be the first time I've seen most of his family since his funeral in '99. My was only 3 last time we were all together.

I am feeling sad about that. We are going over to our friends house and we have invited some people over so it will be ok. DH grandpa has his happy thoughts, his faith and trust. He is just waiting for his order of pixie dust so he can fly up to heaven. We believe the order will be filled soon, This has made us to be Thankful for the time we did have with him. I do work DAT (day after Thanksgiving) at 5am. That should be fun! I love being a Disney Store CM.
