But then Lisann and SuzyQ tricked me into having several serial experiences of being truly, deeply awed by natural splendor. So, okay... I guess I *can* appreciate nature, after all.

But I'm sure as heck not going to spend the night in some dew-covered sleeping bag in order to see it. When I get up in the morning, the most effort I'm willing to exert to get coffee is flipping a switch or making a call. Sure, I'll go ahead and tromp around in a forest all day. But when I'm done, I want a steamy shower and a dinner at which I sit on a real chair.>>>

You will if I make you. Well, a trick maybe.

Not to copy Ursula, but Disneyland is absolutely my most favorite thing to do on a rainy day. The place really glistens and is so magical. And the lines are short! I also love to pop popcorn at home and make hot chocolate topped with a dollup of coolwhip.

    2. Do to reward yourself when you complete a difficult task?

    I really don't. I probably should, though.

    3. Call a perfect evening with your significant other or family?

I love when PB ACTUALLY stays home to watch a movie with me - and actually has her laptop turned off and isn't texting someone. Good, quality together time. Order a pizza so there isn't anything to think about.

    4. Do with books you have already read?

    Give to Goodwill.

    5. Cut out from newspapers?

I REFUSE to clip ANYTHING out of a paper. My mother has this problem with comics. She sees one that reminds her of someone, and that clipping is cluttering her house for years. No thank you!

    6. Think about camping?

When I was first divorced, PB and I were really struggling financially. So in the summers, we made sure we had put away enough gas money to get to Kern River, and her and I would set up camp in our little Puptent and have the best time. Outside of the food cost, it was free, although you can't put a price on the experience. She saw a salamander for the first time, we hiked, explored - and each summer it would be a different adventure.

One time, we tried a different campground and drove up to Lake Mead. I swear there was this tarantula that stalked her! She would never go back to that campground again. And, between you and me, with only the two of us there, the sound of the coyotes kinda creeped me out. But don't tell her that LOL!

Sleep. Watch TV or listen to the radio. Read.

    2. Do to reward yourself when you complete a difficult task?

Eat. I also eat to avoid working on a difficult task. Either way, I win. ;-)

    3. Call a perfect evening with your significant other or family?

    N/A

    4. Do with books you have already read?

Return them. (I hardly ever buy books.)

    5. Cut out from newspapers?

    N/A

    6. Think about camping?

In theory, it's great. In practice, it's been quite a few years since I've made the attempt and I'm not sure if I'd really enjoy it anymore.
