And that contraption they were using was flimsy as hell. I KNOW people dont use those things to take the cheese down that hill, at least not anymore. Switzerland is advanced enough where they might have wheelbarrels or something ;).

Glad to see Mel & Mike and Luke and his Mom doing well in the race...

Do you think those non-TAR trail markers that confused Victor and Tammy were put up by the production to throw the contestants off?

Thanks for the bit of trivia, I actually pointed the gazebo out to my mom ("look at the pretty gazebo, mom") but didn't know it was the one from that movie.

Glad to see Mel and Mike doing so well.

I'm not sure I like the idea of the Blind U-turn; I don't think it's much of a compelling twist to the game.

I am thinking they are going with the blind U-Turn to have people use it and not cause problems during the race. It's much easier to use it, if you don't have to have the team know it was you.

I like that it feels much more like a race again. What I was thinking though is even if you don't like Trek (Those people exist?!) you'll have at least subconsciously know the word "Chekov". Of course if you read all the more power to you.

Interesting to note that all the remaining teams are either friends or family members, no spouses or boyfriend/girlfriend.

Really enjoying the show, haven't watched it since the season before the family edition.
