You read it yet? . . . . . There ya go.

Well, every man and his dog are clueless and have no idea what the Astro Orbitor will do. But one thing is for sure, it will NOT go back up where the original Rocket Jets were. The structure is totally incapable of supporting the system.

In one variation was to replace the rockets with "Jet Packs", where riders would have been strapped in, much like a "Flying" rollercoaster or Hang Glider. I however doubt this will get approved because it would require a high height restriction, and most likely wouldn't be comfortable. Even if the Astro Orbitor was too heavy to place on top of the platform, they would just build a new Rockets ride to put on the platform. Point is, the plan is to put the rockets back up there. Al Lutz even mentioned this once. Call me a FAIL all you like Bob, but have you even seen the concept art? If not, you shouldn't be speaking like you know everything. <<I know some guys, too, and not too many people around these parts would be upset if'n I sent them over to see you.>> Send them my way, PLEASE, it'd be so nice to meet them.

The ride vehicles will travel on the track around Tomorrowland, once again giving the area a more kinetic feel. This Attraction will be the centerpiece attraction of yet another Tomorrowland revamp...< Nowhere did you use the words Blue Sky in your original post. And that's where you got into trouble.

What I am coming to a realization on ... Is the death of this rumor: Innoventions building AND Peoplemover track combined into one attraction. That might have been a consideration a while ago. But is now growing into the latest "urban myth". Peoplemover tracks are a separate issue. Got nothing to do with any such "Tron" idea. If anything .. the rumors on Tron is, it would be a rollercoaster track of sorts .. all contained within a showbuilding ... that consumes the sight of Innoventions and backstage - hence Lassetter's peek at backstage facilities. I put more credence into that ... than any "Tron ride on the Peoplemover track". I've been over this a gazillion times ... but how do you do a Tron LIGHTcycle ride throughout the DAY light hours at Disneyland? By removing 50% or more .. of the Tron gimmick ... you're robbing the audience of where Tron truly should exist - In a completely closed-in environment of it's own - A Showbuilding. But seems according to Leemac .. and a huge giant thread at Micechat .... the prospect of a Tron ride ain't look'n so hot for DL. But seems there may be some traction for it at Shanghai DL, and WDW.

This allows the screens to show the outside (tronified day or night) or just show video as the ride moves along the track. Of course these peoplemover cars dont have be Tron related. They can display anything. Basically this would be a slow moving virtual reality ride with the illusion of speed via video. Heck wouldn't it be cool to use these cars are moving platforms for a Halo-type game. Everyone gets to shoot at each other's cars as the move along the track.

Seems there would be the necessity to have plenty of "flow through" openings to draw plenty of fresh inside.

"I just wonder .. if totally enclosed, that means Air Conditioning systems! And just how reliable would A/C systems .. mounted to each vehicle be?" I still don't understand why anyone would insist that Disney build an elevated transit system as a ride that people can take in any just about any urban area in America. If you want to ride around in a train above Tomorrowland just hop on the Disneyland Monorail System.
