Perhaps battle the ones who are doing it on their turf? All I can do is take you at the things you're posting but you're attributing many things to me that I have never once stated on this forum. I don't think Obama is a Messiah. I don't think he's brilliant or 100% honest or whatever. He's a politician. I don't trust politicians. My biggest feeling about Obama is "finally, Bush is gone. Maybe I can stop caring about politics again". That's my biggest relief. Bush is gone and people seem to be inspired by our current President. That's a great thing and I hope Obama uses this opportunity wisely. That's it. That's hardly worship.

I don't really know that much about them. I don't think their early "troubles" were indicative of deeper problems. I'm not going to judge them for underaged drinking especially at this late date. But the fact that they put their letter in the paper just ruins the intent for me. I doubt it was even their own idea...most likely an advisor or publicist thought it would be cute.
