Oh, and I also volunteered to carry in dinner for six of us for Friday night as well so I was commited to ski in. So it's Friday and the weather was HORRIBLE! The wind was blasting and it was cold and snowing. Never got above 0. But I had to head in otherwise there would be no dinner for a few people. So I started out. Well nobody had been in that day so there was no trail and I had to break trail through the snow for four miles. I made pretty good time for breaking trail the whole way. I got to the hut in three hours. I was an icicle by the time I got there. Weather was beautiful this morning so we skinned up and made some beautiful turns in the most awesome powder in the bowls behind the hut before turning around and skiing back out. Then drove home. Is it too early for me to go to bed yet?
