He also saw that I had a Mickey Mouse watch on, and he grabbed my arm and tried to make off with the watch. It was pretty funny and made our morning! Another one was when I was a teenager and Don Karnage from Tail Spin was out. I had a Mickey pretzel and he tried to steal that from me (what's with the hungry characters?). He proceeded to chase me down for it, and I stopped and said I would fight him for the pretzel, so we had a little shoving match and then he gave up. It was just a fun, spontaneous interaction that I still remember. I also had one at Magic Kingdom with Donald at Christmas. I was over in that street that's now covered over as part of the Emporium. I was watching the Dapper Dans when Donald came out. I guess nobody else noticed him. He came over to me and started to play around. We watched the Dapper Dans some more, and he got us involved in the show. It was very cute, and very fun. I basically had Donald to myself for a little while. Ok, one last one...speaking of alone time with characters. This last trip to Disneyland (December), I was walking by City Hall on my way to exit, and I saw Aladdin just hanging out. Nobody was around him and he was just leaning on one of the lampposts. I went over to him and we chatted for a while and he was very much in character. He asked where I was from, and he mentioned that being a long way from Agrabah. I said, yes, but so is Disneyland! It was a lot of fun.

Back then the Pooh character was unable to sign autographs, and I was devestated. My parents tried explaining it to me, but I just kept handing Pooh the book over and over again, until I was in tears. Finally, Tigger bounced over and said "I'll sign it for Pooh!" Now I treassure that I was lucky enough to have Tigger talk to me, but back then I was so confused and dissapointed that Pooh had rejected me. Suffice it to say, I'm glad that times (and character clothes) have changed and Pooh can now sign.

Suddenly, Chip and Dale run past me. Both of them are wearing the satin studio jackets that characters wear at MGM. They hurry down the aisle where I was, working quickly to remove the jackets. They had just managed to stuff them into one of the lockers when their handler rounds the corner and chases them into the park. Hilarious, perfectly in character, and enjoyed by just one guest - me. It still tickles me some 8 years on.

Mickey recognized me and was sooooo happy I came to see him that I got totally and completely embarrassed. Turned beet red - all the way to the ears - and that is how the picture came out!!! I have to tell the story to explain why I look so red! I love it.

She hesitated for a moment and then ran over to him and gave him the biggest hug! It was a perfect moment. We all had tears in our eyes! Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Another goofy one was while I was working Small World. The Christmas Parade was going from Small World to Main Street and a float got a wheel caught in the train track way down the line. The Ballerina on the music box stayed in character the whole time the floats sat in one place and continued to dance. Every once in a while she would glance down and give me a wave or a wink. Cutey! The three princesses on the parade-that-would-never-end never liked it when we would as a group at Small World did their "Wave" routine with them as they passed. We had it memorized!

It started with trying to chase down and get a pic w/ the Mad Hatter for about 10 minutes. he kept runnign around or ignoring guests (not in a bad way just in the Mad way). We finally got his attention an asked for a pic, so he posed for me to take a pic of him. Then we said, "No we want to take a pic w/ you". So he helped me take a pic of my friend. Then we explained we wanted a pic of me standing next to him so he stood backwards... I got frustrated (fun frustrated mind you) and he finalyl turned the right way and my batteries in my camera died. So I said I'd sit and cry, so he sat on my lap and cried w/ me. Then took my batteries and gave them a funeral. It was absolutely hilarious and made my vacation That and my friend Alicia getting to meet Peter Pan (her fave character) for the first time. Peter knew and played it up really well. I love characters!!! ^_^

Captain Hook was playing air hockey against a guest, which cracked us up. When they finished, Peter started asking for quarters so he could play air hockey, and someone gave him a couple. He started playing against the Mad Hatter, but the machine didn't give Peter a point every time he got a goal. He acted increasingly frustrated, and though he would have won, the machine ended up giving the Mad Hatter the winning score, and Peter started sulking, with the Mad Hatter teasing him and saying he lost because he's just a boy. It was a great moment. Also, right after Toontown opened, we made our first visit, and I was with my mom when we went to Mickey's house for the first time (I think I was about 10). We were the last people in our group to see Mickey, and he gave me extra attention, putting his sorceror's hat on me and having my mom take pictures of us. I felt really special, and I still remember it well. Oh, and on our West Coast Disney Cruise this past summer, my sister and I were in the Cove Cafe, which is the 18-and-over coffee bar and internet cafe, when Chip and Dale walked in wearing their hilariously old-fashioned bathing suits. First, Chip went over to one of the computers and tried to get it to work, but he couldn't type in a working password so he couldn't get on the internet and acted all frustrated. Then he went over to the large glass pastry case and tried to open it but had trouble with that, too. He was banging his fists on the glass slowly and sadly and rested his head against the case in defeat. It was hysterical.

We always keep our eyes out for her well at least the DH does.

We had him (he's 8) in a Peter Pan costume and had just got to Main Street when Wendy saw us, rushed over grabbed my nephew's hand and said "Peter, there you are, where have you been?" then dragged him off down main street scolding him and saying they had to go find the Lost Boys. My nephew was SO happy and it made for a great memory.

Like yesterday I was in the gift shop at Mission Space at Epcot just checking out the merchandise and I hear a little kid shout "SPACE GOOFY" so I look over my shoulder toward the voice and sure enough Space Goofy is like 2 foot in front of me walking toward me with his arms wide open to hug me which of course I was more than happy to oblige! It was so fun and so unexpected. I have had that same sort of thing happen a bunch of times with Chip, and Dale. I've been just running around Tom Sawyer Island with my kids and then all of a sudden someone will lock their arm into mine and just start strolling along with me and it'll be Chip. I LOVE THAT!

They skipped from that end of ToonTown all the way to the Park (next to then new playground). When we got there. He let go of my daughter's hand and started spinning my son around in circles. Pluto was wonderfully entertaining and it was great to see so much one on one time with my kids.

I had been to DL one time before that but it was only for about a half a day. We were in Toontown for the first time and just kinda looking around at where everything was and deciding what to do. DH was sitting at one of the tables and I was standing in front of him. All of a sudden, someone with HUGE white gloves was covering my eyes. I started laughing & turned around and it was GOOFY! I immediately went from laughing to crying! Poor Goofy thought he had scared me so bad that I cried! I was like that little kid on the WDW commercial - I just looked at him and said "I've been waiting to meet you my whole life" and started laughing again. He spent a good 5-10 minutes with me and DH - no one else was around. It was fantastic! The other one just happened this past March. LVBelle & I were sitting at the exit to Tower of Terror waiting for DH and Casey to get off the ride (we're both pregnant so we couldn't ride) when Cruella came up to the exit as well. She was wandering around very impatient like she was waiting for someone too. We asked if she would like to sit down next to us - which she did much to her dislike. About 30 seconds later JoJo came out and saw Cruella and started teasing her. The teasing turned into a round of Charades in which Cruella thought JoJo was charading something about smacking puppies on the head. Poor JoJo! We have a photo of all 4 of us, JoJo, Cruella, LVBelle, and me on the bench outside the exit of ToT! It was a blast.
