    It still begs the questions -- if it is so important for us to overthrow the terrorists, why aren't we making pre-emptive strikes against the governments of Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, and several rogue states of the former Soviet Union? There is far more intelligence linking those nations to active terrorist cells than there ever was in Iraq.

    So that's a no.

    While that may be true, it has nothing to do with what was asserted.

    I disagree. I think it's being asserted merely to critize Republicans. When the Clinton administration bombed Iraq, and told us that Saddam was supporting terrorism and pursuing WMD's, liberals didn't claim he shouldn't act, because other countries were doing similar things.
