The crowds are insane this week

    We were at Magic Kingdom this Saturday. It was packed. We were there 9/22-10/1 and walked on rides like Small World, Buzz, even Space Mountain. Buzz wait was 50 minutes and Space Mtn 70 minutes at 3-4pm. Even like 30 minute wait for Small World! POTC had a short wait though, but we did that after 9pm fireworks!

    My sisters were there on Sunday and although there seemed to be a lot of people in the park, queue lengths were not too bad. AK today though was hot, crowded and not fun!

    No, my sisters and Mother are at the World at the moment, I'm on still on the other side of the planet. Upcoming Disney trips though are DLP in Dec and Hong Kong in January.

    I also noticed huge amounts of folks from the UK as well.
    We were on the bus one morning to the MK and I overheard the driver telling another guest that the crowd levels were that of June.
    It sure seemed most mornings that whatever park we were going to, so was everyone else at our resort.
    And, it always seemed that the POFQ bus stop was always the one that was the longest distance from the park entrances ( at least it seemed that way to our tired legs and feet ).
    The heat and humidity didn't help either.

    We took advantage of MEA and were there from 10/12-10/21. Most days I would say it was a bit busy but by no means undoable. But the worst day was the 21st. Even the TTA had a 20 minute wait.

    Heck, my son has an Arsenal jersey (the older O2 jersey) and he's never been to the UK! He even wore it last week to DL.
