Also, as in Batman Begins, they mispronounced "Ra's Al Ghul". No biggie, but it seems odd, as it had to be deliberate. I was pleasantly surprised by Ann Hathaway's portrayal of Selina Kyle. They did downplay the Catwoman side of her character (she didn't say meow or wear a costume with a tail) which was fine.

This is going to be a long wait to see TDKR, I really wish it had opened two weeks earlier so I wouldn't have to wait an entire month to see it with my kid (unless it will be showing at the Wendover CrappyPlex, then I can see it in less than 3 weeks).

Thought it was cool that Heinz Stadium, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers was in the movie and got blown up, since I grew up close to Pittsburgh and have been to the stadium. Still couldn't help but chuckle when Batman starts talking in his gutteral, hoarse, raspy voice. Didn't like it as much as Avengers, if that matters at all.

Add Warner Bros and Christopher Nolan to the list of victims, albeit not on the same level. They did nothing at all and yet the media insists on somehow linking this to them, because it was opening night for the biggest movie of the year, so it grabs headlines. It's ridiculous. No one can be more critical of big corporations than me, but Warner Bros has been nothing but gracious and amazing through this whole thing, even though they do not deserve to be linked to this. They've apparently made a huge donation to the victims fund without making it public.

Also, Ra's back story is "different". Classic Ra's is about 600 years old, and he keeps rejuvenating in the "Lazarus Pit". Talia was born into the League of Shadows, she never had to escape from a pit, and in the comics she is in love with Bruce, and calls him "Beloved". Her father refers to Bruce/Bats (he knows his identity) as the "Detective" and wants Bruce to marry Talia so that they can produce genetically perfect heir to run the League of Shadows. And they do have a child: Damien Wayne, who later becomes the fifth Robin.
